Description:
The data set consists of maps of total velocity of the surface current in the RÕa de Vigo averaged over a time interval of half an hour around the cardinal hour and with spatial resolution of 400 m. Surface ocean velocities estimated by HF Radar are representative of the upper 0.5 meters of the ocean.
